AYRTON SENNA X TEAM LOTUS NO. 12 F1™ Signature CAP – BLACK AND GOLD
Celebrate one of the most important chapters in Ayrton Senna's Formula 1™ career with the officially licensed Senna x Team Lotus No. 12 Formula One™ Cap.
The legendary No. 12 represents Senna's breakthrough years with Team Lotus from 1985 to 1987. After making his Formula 1™ debut with Toleman in 1984, Senna joined Lotus for 1985 and immediately established himself among F1's elite.
Driving the iconic black-and-gold JPS Lotus 97T No. 12, Senna claimed his first Formula 1™ pole position and first Grand Prix victory at Estoril in 1985, producing a legendary wet-weather performance at the Portuguese Grand Prix. It was the first of his 41 career F1 victories and the beginning of his rise toward becoming a three-time Formula 1™ World Champion.
That history makes No. 12 much more than a racing number. Senna wore No. 12 throughout his Team Lotus years, where he scored his first F1™ victories, arrived as a prodigy, and developed into one of the defining drivers of his generation. Formula 1™ itself recognizes No. 12 as one of the sport's iconic driver numbers because of its association with Senna.
Featuring distinctive Team Lotus black-and-gold heritage detailing and Senna's No. 12 signature branding, this cap pays tribute to the era that helped launch the Ayrton Senna legend and one of the greatest all-time drivers in history.
Already sold out through many Senna Shops and increasingly difficult to find, the Senna x Team Lotus cap is especially desirable for Ayrton Senna collectors, Team Lotus enthusiasts, and Formula 1™ memorabilia collectors. Never to be reproduced.
